It's no wonder that modern movies and TV shows are utter dogshit when you hear left-liberals (aka the people writing that shit) cry about "sexist" tropes: "Muh women in refrigerators, Muh rape as drama, bad bad, no more!"None of their observations are remotely clever or insightful: "How dare you kill a female character who wasn't even actively involved in the villain's storyline?!" - to show that the villain doesn't simply target the hero and his allies who are fighting him, that he's willing to hurt and kill anyone the hero cares about, which makes him far more scary and unpredictable. Not every character gets a big and dramatic death with lots of buildup, deal with it faggot."You can't have Rape in a story unless you take the time to focus on the raped character and how she deals with and eventually overcomes said rape" - why? This is a stupid rule resulting in far worse, more predictable and less believable stories. If the villain is established as thoroughly evil, and a female character is at his mercy, why shouldn't rape be on the table?
