@Rasp One of them is actually descended from an ancient monarchy from a state that decayed a hundred years ago. It turns out they are the last legitimate heir of some long dead civilisation. And they were in hiding in order to plan for their revenge.

@Rasp A furry horror VN about an average dude going back to his hometown, that slowly descends into total madness no matter which route you go down. It's incredibly emotionally intense and can be triggering though. So I would caution that it is not for the faint of heart.

@Rasp @avesbury_rosetta One of them isn't who she said she is. She couldn't afford to go to the college, and she didn't get a scholarship, so she took the place of someone who did get the scholarship. What happened to the girl that got the scholarship??? It shouldn't be "she killed her". That's too prosaic. Like, maybe she manufactured a fake crisis and the original girl is on a wild goose chase to fix it, and the impostor has to keep making fake stuff to keep her busy.

@Rasp Let's start with your protag witnessing a murder, and from there each girl you get involved with hides something nearly as messed up. I'm talking Hitchcock meets Tales from the Crypt (particularly the g.h.o.u.l.s episode).Granted, I've never written horror, but I like the premise. I'd volunteer, but I don't do anime which is probably what you're looking for.
