@adam Listening to your discussion on AI and Transhumanism in episode #1621. I was reminded of this novel by Neal Stephenson. I don't know how much fiction you read but you might enjoy it. Maybe not as good as Snowcrash but really good.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fall%3B_or%2C_Dodge_in_Hell

@tacticaldan @adam I love Stephenson, but this one was a tough slog. I think I stopped reading it partway through. This from someone who's read The Baroque Cycle twice, Cryptonomicon twice, Snowcrash at least three times - you get the idea, I'm a fan.But Fall was not a great read for me. YMMV.

@Dangerous_Clams @adam I understand the point of view. It took me 2 tries to read the Baroque Cycle. First time was when Quicksilver was 1st published (still have the hardback). Fall resonated with me. Both better than Remade, though. And I don't know how many times I've read Snowcrash, at least 5x.

@tacticaldan @adam I grabbed Quicksilver in hardcover as soon as it came out, not knowing there were 2 more books planned.Imagine happiness after learning that more books were coming.
