@brewsterkahle I recently visited the Cleveland Public Library. . . the 1925 building is beautifully maintained, it is exquisite. When I was walking through the building to visit an art installation, I did not see a *single* library user. 🙁

@FallsMom I frequently visit libraries, as you can imagine, and the larger public libraries and university libraries have patrons in seats, but very rarely have books from the shelves next to them.We need to move the treasures of our book collections into an easy to access form for this generation. trying, trying.

@brewsterkahle My understanding is that this irreplaceable building was demolished to make way for a parking garage. The people of Cincinnati got this as a consolation prize -- a main library that looks like it was sh*t out by some huge mechanical monster.
