Is it really impossible to find an open source web based email client with such a basic feature as search that actually works ???? Fucking hell ! I don't want to go back to using gmail

@Knigge i said working search ! None of those support search in thé email body ... I have 25 years of emails I want to schlep around .

@shaneohare yeah but only search by metadata, not contents ? Also problematic is when you want to sync mailboxes ... Thé bridge is very VERY slow. Also annoying thé web client can't send using a 'separate smtp server ..

@thisisthebreath @Knigge squirrelmail too basic , roundcube chokes on my email archive ... too bad that mailpile got basically discontinued ... I need a web based thunderbird ... Or even a web based Mutt ... if it would only support pdf previews ..
