In other news, I asked for the dentist to get pre-authorization for my son's wisdom teeth removal. They waited until just before close of business the day before the appointment to tell me it's only partially covered.And if I cancel or reschedule because I'm suddenly on the hook for a large chunk of change, I lose the deposit they made me make. (Since it would be less than 24 hours notice.)I'm getting real tired of getting hosed by doctors and dentists on the bill.

@tj I would balk at paying, on the grounds that didn't give you enough notice as to what the bill is. Small claims would be a bitch for them, and look BAD for them

@tj I called my dentist this morning to reschedule my kid’s appointment from tomorrow afternoon to any other day, but they were closed. Because of @Jagahati our dentist will charge $50 for appointments not canceled without 24 hour notice. I left a message, but I’m sure they’ll try to add the $50 onto our bill when I do take him.
