@Mummabear The Early Holocene sea level rise is the most likely for the biblical flood.It was 12000-7000 years ago and sea levels rose 60 metres.

@DanV yeah I've just learnt that when the ice age was ending and melted. Several natural barriers gave way and flooded various parts of the world. All within a few years of each other.

@Mummabear I'd never heard of that before, but I'd have ro say no. The Biblical flood was a global catastrophe, with the whole world was covered with water. The Zanclean flood was a localized event.
