A question because i'm curious....how many of you are you using Linux? Is it easy to get installed & not need to do anything in settings? I'm read stuff & that's why i'm ask 🥴 (Always ask to know about opinions that's why)

@_MoonArcadia_ I run it (and I would install it on my toaster if I could). It's easy to set it up and you can actually try it to see if you like it before you install it.

@_MoonArcadia_ well, Linux is the kernel. Ubuntu is a distribution of Linux, so is Mint.As for downloading packages, yes, you need to put your password if you install packages on your system. It's a security feature and it's really good to have. You don't have to worry about it though. You can just set up a bootable USB drive and try it first to see if it works on your machine. If you think it's fine, you can then install the operating system on your computer, alongside Windows if you want to.

@getimiskon I saw some people using USBs about it indeed...do you believe Cinammon is good for Windows 10? My pc is since from 2017 but i have this problem for some years now & then it restarts my system so i hope only it's a Windows problem because my pc seems running fine....🥴 So yep that's why i'm thinking about it....

@_MoonArcadia_ you still might need to tweak your bios for accepting a linux distribution, it depends upon manufacturer per manufacturer though @getimiskon
