       I was a young teenager, I remember my dad arguing with someone about how without the federal govt they would have never standardized the railroad system. Seemed wrong I thought at the timeI just replaced an old bifold door today in my house.The picture show two bifold door metal channels. One original from 1978, one brand new.Standardized, unchanged.No govt standards, no interstate agency, no commissioner, no centralized planning.If only ppl thought & observed things the way I do.

       @stewil102 It actually is standardized. There is a cabal that set the standards. you may know it as the ISO standards. They even set the colors clothing manufacturers use. That is why you can only get white, black, and stainless appliances. It also why all 70s kitchens were Harvest Brown, Avocado white or black.It is why all cars look the same now.https://www.iso.org/home.html

       @stewil102 It is a United / League of Nations thing. The powers that be have standardized everything to aid in worldwide manufacturing. At least, as far as I have been able to figure out. But I'm just a dude on the internet, so treat my opinion as such.
