       One thing about me is, my black-eyed peas and collards will always hit.Sage, rosemary, and fig feature forward, as does an initial stage of braising the collards in a combination of their own liquid and a couple of dashes of fig balsamic vinegar, but in my mind there is no single more "season with your heart; season until the ancestors tell you to stop" dish than black eyed peas and collard greens.

       @Wolven I've never been able to convince the kids that collards are delicious. I did the black eyed peas though. Maybe I should take your approach and do them together.
