Probably no changes for me: try to get my work translated and possibly write more to my lore with no chance of it ever getting published. If all the writing community has reminded me of is their works I need to buy/read later on.

Hopefully making further progress into my WIP (currently have the climactic scene and the falling action/ending left to figure out). I won't say I hope a proper first or second draft is finished, because who knows. As to contributing to the community, the very least I can do is read and review more indie books. Critiques will also be welcome once I have something substantial enough to critique (even if I usually get more than I can give on that front).

The Minds community does help with my procrastination.

I want to get "The Hand Holding the Knife" out in good time. That's my first goal. I don't know that there is anything the Minds community could do to help in that regard. I've already cut way back on the extraneous stuff I do online. I just need time. It's almost done, so I don't feel crunched, just residual frustration that it's already late compared to when I wanted it released. As for helping others, I'm generally more than happy to give anything a quick look, but I don't know that I have time for more than that.

I'd like to get back on the horse of writing indie reviews, as that's how I'd like most of my fellow members of this writing community to help me--via reading and critiquing my work. However, I need to get more work out there to be critiqued. That's what I'm looking forward to the most. I plan to finally, actually publish the (now) eight novella length stories I've had written and edited for about a year now.On top of that, I want to progress my two other Wand Smoke projects: Rebirth and Discourses. If I can complete those by the end of 2024, I'll be less unhappy.

Hopefully I'll write the sequel to Raven Stone. As for how the community could help me, I'd like to know about people's experiences with self-publishing services like Draft2Digital, IngramSpark, Amazon KDP, etc. I've been working with Draft2Digital mostly and my experiences have been pretty good, but they must have upset some of their retailers because they've imposed new content restrictions on all but Smashwords. I'm looking at IngramSpark, but they're much more complicated, and I have no experience with them, which puts me at a bit of a disadvantage.
