@PNS @meryllelogram I grew up in Jackson County. When my brother and I were 14 & 15 we would forge a note from my mom and knock off school, we'd "borrow" our grandpa's car and drive to La Crosse. We'd skip school at least once a week. On our reports cards if you had more than 4 absences the additional absences would show up on the second page, we'd just ditch the second page before giving it to our parents. Ah, the days when a kid could be a kid. Rural WI was a great place to grow up.
