       @ScoWer22 I think it’s about the baggage handlers who have to load & unload your bags. That’s why you can pay a fee for the heavier bag, the baggage handlers will still have to load it and the airline keeps the money.

       @CliffordTheBigRedDog Their union protects their poor aching backs? Don't get me wrong: i swung salt bags and 50-pound dog food at the grocery for 8+ years. I just think the logic is funny. Like weight in the upper fussilage tube is better than the lower stowage. I'm no pilot/plane design engineer and have not done the physics. Seems dubious, but i just like the funny part.

       @CliffordTheBigRedDog I'll grant you this: it is possible that weight ABOVE the jet engines MUST be balanced with weight below in storage properly. So the pilots know the balance assumption. @adam  could probably tell us.
