       The website of the podcast Stories of Iceland has now been joined the #Fediverse. You might not know what the Fediverse is (unless of course you are seeing this post on the Fediverse) so let me explain. The Fediverse connects many different social media networks, the most famous being #Mastodon, by using a common protocol called #ActivityPub. Now sites powered by #Wordpress can also join.        I did not manage to connect my #Wordpress #blog to the #Fediverse (likely because it isn't in the root directory of the domain) but I did get my podcast (also Wordpress) to join.@oligneisti@storiesoficeland.com

       If you have your own domain and use #Wordpress it is extremely easy to connect to the #Fediverse. People really should do this.@oligneisti@storiesoficeland.com
