I've been trying to use my existing 2TB of Google storage for automated backups of some data on my self-hosted boxes... it's been a total PITA though as I have to regenerate my OAuth credentials every week unless I'm willing to jump through quite a few hoops to get my app "published" or to create an internal Organization. Oof...Request for object storage incoming...

So - I need some object storage and I want it to be:a) Easy to script into (e.g. a well supported Linux CLI tool ideally)b) Durable (data is not going to disappear overnight)c) Durable (company is not going to disappear overnight)d) Relatively cheap - but I'm happy to pay.Any suggestions? Backblaze? Hetzner? Digital Ocean?Prefer to not loop Amazon into this...Backblaze offers 10GB free, which is probably more than sufficient initially...

@RyuKurisu I'm not too paranoid about security - I can encrypt the files locally. Tarsnap feels like one of those companies that _could_ announce it is shutting down with relatively little warning - hmm...

@funnylookinhat yeah the slogan is about being paranoid, but they are pretty affordable AFAIK. And they are running running business since November 2008 and became profitable just 3 months later.I do not know their business structure (you know, if they have a "getting hit by the bus" problem), but being it business for about 15 years is pretty good if you ask me ✌️😎
