Fighting the urge to upgrade my graphics cardCurrently using a 3070 on a Linux setup, and I'm eyeing a 7800 XT given some prices I see at MicroCenter. Switching to an AMD card would be nice given Linux, and it's a good upgrade...I could also sell my current card for at least half the cost of the new card...Send help!

@NBS When I face this, I'm extremely afraid because graphics compatibility in Linux has just always been a goat-screw.Or it's perfect, frequently in fact, it's flawless!...and when it is...boy I hang on.Because when it's not flawless, it's NEVER right. NEVER.Historically.Debian 12 has been great upgrading the video card

@NBS I was mulling this over last year and got a 6800XT and it worked fine but made a weird noise that bothered me so I returned it and got a 3070 instead.
