Why the heck does the fountain app now audio jump cut everything? A truly wretched and unlistenable feature. Anybody know a way to disable it?

@SirFahrenheit I don't use fountain, but I accidentally turned on a setting in Podverse or Antennapod a while ago that eliminated dead air pauses and it made everything unlistenable for me. Maybe check the playback settings and see if you enabled "eliminate pauses" or something like that.

@msdosfxI checked that, cuz I know I could do the same. Couldn't find that anywhere in the app, including under playback settings.

Ah. Per their support auto reply, it's a bug."Audio skipping silences: With the release of versions 1.0.0 and 1.0.1, you may notice an issue with the audio, where there's little to no 'dead air'. The result is audio that sounds sped up. We are aware of this issue and apologise. We will have a fix for this as soon as possible. Please bear with us in the meantime."
