@lonelyowl Yes, this just makes creating such a recording a bit more accessible. IMO that makes who you're in a voice channel with a much more significant privacy factor than whether or not you have this particular setting on/off.

Discord is trying to sneak in unannounced privacy changes again.A new beta feature called "Clips" allows voice chat to be recorded. You have to dig up the new setting and manually opt-out.

@KarlHeinzHasliP @Dandelion because a user is capable of installing and using a audio recording software, does not mean that a voip app is unsave to use.Anyhow, this is about a concerning discord setting, which you have to opt out of. It is not about kids recording voip calls.
