@SeaRobb My brother and SiL are woke to the point of making excuses as to why they won't listen to NA or Congressional Dish, so at this point I just consider talking to them to be BotG research. Their take is that accepting illegal aliens into the US is the Christian Thing to Do. After all, Jesus was a political refugee who extended His grace to sinners of all stripes and was thus a radical. Bringing up the points you did gets a labeling as a racist and xenophobe b/c "We are all God's children".

@SeaRobb They talk a lot about Evangelicals and the like "cherry picking" from Scripture, but they do the same thing but on different issues by way of ignoring things Jesus said. Like cutting off a hand if it causes you to sin, and rending unto Caesar what is Caesar's. It's not for us to judge others, that belongs to God and in the meantime we should welcome everyone and extend our Christian Charity to them.

@SeaRobb Immigration will be shut down for a long time while we clean up, make arrests, and so on. We'll still have problems with the left. We need new prisons, a new system like Japan's, and mental hospitals. Lots of mental hospitals, lol.

@SeaRobb every thing you mentioned is our own damn fault. In France, for an immigrant to become citizen, he/she has to go through several classes and pass them just be eligible to apply for citizenship. We must follow and enforce our own laws. You and I get severely punished if we rape, so why not apply the same standard to immigrants.

@rahmat In the Gulf Arab states where 90% of the population is made up of third world immigrants, are not allowed the welfare state, every single one has to have a job or they deported and have to pay for their own flight back. So effectively there is no burden cost and all gain

@SeaRobb Not just entry, but one idea that keeps coming up is an offer for citizenship in exchange for military service. Since Biden destroyed our military, this might actually happen. And if the armed forces filled with people who don't respect our nation, they will easily turn those guns around on us when ordered.

@DaddyO @SeaRobb I agree, it's not the same thing. Also, it is possible to love someone yet know it's not a good idea to have anything to do with them. In their case, it's cognitive dissonance at work - both myself and my SiL have issues with the families we grew up with that have led us to cut off contact and they're fine with that, but apply the same principle on the immigration issue and let the "REEEE!!" commence.
