@Titanbreakerkun When I first played rust I was online and joined one of the largest servers aptly named "facepunch" I spawned on a beach naked surrounded by corpses with flies on them and I get gunned down by people on a rock cliff above me, I heard them on VC laughing maniacally, eventually I escaped the beach spawn massacre but there were no trees or rocks anywhere (300 players) I get into a forest and someone says on VC "whos that in my forest" and downed me with a crossbow then bashed me to death with a rock. One guy took me in when I was starving and fed me the corpse of someone else he had killed then killed me then laughed into the mic maniacally. Another guy built a house next to my house then got mad at me in VC for having a base near his while he stood at my door knocking, he raided me when I was offline, that game has the craziest player base.

@Fash-E @Titanbreakerkun I miss old legacy rust, where all you needed was a 2 by 1 base and a hunting rifle to ensure you could keep shitters at bay. The emphasis on PVE and lack of huge servers meant everyone was chill for the most part. That, and I didn't have to deal with Chinamen or Koreans swarming over everything that moved. Good times.
