       @Zeno001 wow, that would be good. I was shocked when I learned that was possible.  How are they going to deal with the people who already did it.And this is 'taking away the rights we already have', the thing the TRAs always accuse us of. It should never have been.  Also ban name changes for violent crime of any sort by anyone. And make voluntary reporting of address and criminal record compulsory - with penalties.

       @FeartnTired I think there will still be the issue of what to do with the ones who already have changed their passport and/or driving licences. I suspect the government won't want to spend the money needed to rescind and reissue those. And if they do bring this in, there will be a rush to get new ones issued before the change comes into effect.
