@Turkleton The same can be said about everywhere. The tourist versus local experiences are completely different. I have enjoyed my time in many foreign cities, but no way would I make any stay permanent.But on Russia specifically, I've seen some "Russia is giving land to Whites in Siberia" posts and my reaction to them every time is "if Siberia was nice, Russians would be living there, and not just the exiled critics and criminal, and their guards".

@marlin @Turkleton As literal Siberian inhabitant (though i live in Southern part near to Kazakhstan border, where is much warmer) this is true.You can buy a land here as foreigner, BUT you must do all preparation by yourself. Thus you must have prior experience before you move here and want to start something (google about Justus Walker, an American farmer who moved here as example).As for gun rights in Russia, you're allowed to posses all types of shotguns, hunting rifles and some carabines, but handguns are not allowed for some retarded reason (expect those which use traumatic rounds).

@Turkleton even if russia were a slavic disneyland where everyone was Christian and strong hetero men rode around on bears why would I move therewhy do these people buy into the idea that you can change home countries like a pair of pants. despite what jewish media says a man ought to have a sacred bond to his land much in the same way as to his family, because in many ways his nation is a form of extended family as it provides and nutures his people and they care for it in return. the idea of just leaving for another because things are tough is the same level of thinking as bringing the third world to the magic dirt of the west to boost GDP

@branman65 @MeBigbrain I have been told that Moscow is like a different country from the rest of russia and for some reason that lots of gopnik types come from Chelyabinsk but other that I really don't know. It's very ethnically diverse believe it or not.
