       @Dawnz We're having Rippchen, a German tradition of smoked pork chops simmered on top of sauerkraut. They believe it brings good luck. We do it every year!

       @Dawnz —I just got done with the black eyed peas. Will be taking some to work tomorrow afternoon with store bought fried chicken, brown rice, a a King’s Hawaiian roll.Will freeze the rest for later consumption.🙂

       @KittyDugre Here its black eye peas- reflects that during the civil war most of the  field of crops were destroyed by troops.  black eye peas survived and pork was available.Pork roast,collard greens cooked with a ham hock because greens reflect money (ham just for flavor)😏 Corn bread reflects the color of money and readily available
