       @tek Seriously some of our very ideas of freedom and what we work for came from the spirit of 1968,  but we also need to acknowledge the harms and protect our communities by taking victims stories seriously.  Like what happened at CCC this year with a known abuser having to be confronted should not have happened.This isn't just a French problem, not is it an entertainment industry problem.        @onepict I wish I could disagree with any of what you just said, but it's sadly true (and nearly universal).Weinstein had/has his defenders. Hollywood lined up to talk about how wonderful Roman Polanski is. Although I was calling out France this time, US isn't immune to that same horrid thinking.
