       A follower asked me to share a piece on Substack, but I didn't think it was the best take.Here's what I think is the clearest summary:Substack says allowing self-proclaimed Nazis to use their service is a free speech issue, but they don't allow sexually explicit content published by sex workers.        @grammargirl I won’t argue. That’s clearly the business they want.I tend to look at it as managed speech, because people think it’s ok to abuse free speech. You can’t yell fire in a movie house to trigger panic, hate speech is not protected speech, and neither is motivations to violence.And I’d sooner hear from a worker than some piece of shit fascist, any day. I’d say substack needs to fix its house.

       @grammargirl Thank you for that. I wonder if they'd go so far as to claim they're banning adult content on moral grounds but find nothing morally objectionable about Nazi content.Worse, if they claim it's their financial brokers, their banks who won't allow adult content... that just passes the Nazi buck higher.

       @grammargirl @dxzdb Correct. If they do ANY moderation on the site (e.g. blocking sexually-explicit content by sex workers), but allow content from Nazis … that means they are explicitly allowing Nazi content.They’re now a Nazi site.
