@Moon@shitposter.club any glass can be a wine gladd, a water glass, beer glass, soda glass, milk glass, pilk glass... Can it hold a liquid? Is it clean? Comfortable to hold and drink from? Then I can use it for drinking.

i've read that the point of the stemmed ones is to make it easier to swish the wine. but plenty of people enjoyed wine for millennia without them. it may be not be a particularly purposeful affectation.if you ask me, the best way to enjoy wine is with a woman you love, dancing barefoot in the sand, next to a starlit river, and straight from a bottle that the shopkeeper opened for you. that is to say, the less time spent on such things as how it tastes, the more time spent on the setting, the better. but i never had a strong sense of taste so my priorities are different from most.

@kaia I got a nice set of four on the amazon, I'm not super happy with the look but at least they're not square. I also wanted to get a box with them so I can stash them when I'm not having a party.

@Moon I have stemless and think they are fantastic! Don’t accidentally knock them over because I’ve done that a couple times with stems. I can be clumsy sometimes haha
