Just a reminder to always turn down the Cruise recruiters. This is not the first time they’ve spontaneously laid off great security staff and then followed up with aggressive and cheery pitches to young talent.

@hacks4pancakes @blogdiva My experience with this seems something like yours. When smart people are wasted, cut loose without a plan? I wonder what's hiding in the closet.No mature org hemorrhages institutional knowledge willingly.Could be just stupid. Could be trouble, you're right.

@gearhead @hacks4pancakes @blogdiva I can’t even find “Cruise” the company, even if I add “cybersecurity” to it; search engine just thinks I’m interested in cruise ship security/cybersecurity. Since that affects search results, I’ll state I’m outside the US.Is this maybe the car company?Great branding

@ivan He brother, I think they were discussing the "Cruise" industry, as in ginormous hotels on boats floating from place to place.Could be wrong, tho.😉

@gearhead I can be seriously out of touch or dumb sometimes, this was one of those cases. I really did spen some time staring at that post and wondering what is Cruise. I have the excuse that self-driving taxis are not a thing yet around my parts, and I don't think they will be for a few years at least.
