Also see what the half-lifes of "pesticides" are in what conditions, and if anyone but farmers and those really close to them have to worry about them even in theory (plenty are mostly harmless to humans, like glycophosphate which hits an enzyme no animal has).Fluoride to an excess would be from the ground they're in, and observations about communities that had natural fluoride in their water is what led to all its uses against cavities. Although that gets into the messiness of calculating doses, water in food from fluorided sources was not considered.Sounds to me like you're not figuring in "the dose makes the poison" when thinking about wells. Although maybe in other parts of the US they're more vulnerable, there ... well, really, unless the well is fairly deep, you've got to worry about literal shit etc. from animals contaminating it, and people would get sick all the time.

I do not believe the delivery method would be a chemical per se. I just got home from work and could read into it now. Maybe with tea. I would posit that because nanotechnology has also been improving in the background, you would be dealing with literal nanites or synthetic organisms capable reaching the brain.
