@greyknight33 In my area, the local McD's is charging $6.39 (without tax) for a so-called "Big Mac" sandwich. The original little "cheeseburger" sandwich is $2.39.I still remember when you could buy a cheeseburger for $0.50 back in the 80s and they were better build/bigger too. :/

@greyknight33 I still remember back in the 70s/80s when McDonald's at least TRIED to give you an honest-to-God good hamburger that didn't taste like chemicals and looked a lot more like the advertised version. I've definitely noticed its decline over the years and the whole service of cooking and serving the food out to the customer itself has even declined substantially. The experiments are gone too--no more Cheddar Melt, McDLT, McLean, etc. They at least were willing to experiment before.

Recently at a work putting to Buffalo Wild Wings I learned they use beef tallow for just about everything. Mix feelings, at least it's not seed oils but if I ate it I'd get sick.

I prefer it. The taste and feel of the shitty vegetable oil that they switched to ruined a lot of the quality of the food there for me.

@Dan_Ramos @greyknight33 I'm in such a food rabbit hole I'm going to point out it all depends on what those cows were fed. Garbage in garbage out. The adverse reactions I have had are likely from animal based fats from animals that ate a lot of corn or something. It makes the PUFAs worse.
