       @annsterzinger I drove my retired mom there once and she stayed there for a few days. it was really cool, I learned about my mom's interests. she learned about it on youtube. I didn't personally stay there. I love the Sonoran Desert though, I lived in southern Arizona for over eight years.

       @annsterzinger they're getting rid of slab city. The land always belonged to the military, and now that we're getting back on a war footing, they want it back. Plus there were a few shootings and murders out there; guess once people had been around for a while, they decided that place was theirs.>move out to bumfuck desert>be free of society's rules>make your own rules >enforce those rules on others>decide that some animals are more equal than others>become what you despise, except in a hideously hot hellscape where you live in a shack made out of pallets
