Today, in 2019, a colleague asked me for assistance in setting up this configuration. We established a Proxmox-based cluster with three operational servers and three Ceph storage servers, all connected via 10 Gbit/sec networking, stored on SSDs. I didn't quite understand the urgency behind it at the time, but I trusted and respected the person who requested my help, so I went along with it.A few months later, he left for a new job, and I ended up taking over the cluster myself. We decommissioned it a few months ago due to an office relocation, which didn't allow space for the rack. Now, all the data is hosted on external servers, migrated one VPS at a time, and transitioning from Proxmox to FreeBSD.#ClusterSetup #Proxmox #CephStorage #ServerMigration #TechTransition #FreeBSD #Ceph #ThrowbackThursday

@FiLiS I've been using Ceph for almost 10 years. Never had a problem, but lately I'm trying to use it only when it can really be useful. I'm trying to simplify my setups.
