       installed kde 3 on modern openSUSE using this guide: https://www.spacefun.ch/gosit was pretty cool, but also really annoying. oftentimes installing old DEs isn’t very fun for me anymore because they don’t tend to have good hiDPI monitor support, and since i use a hiDPI laptop, it can be a real eyestrain. my eyes kind of hurt after using it… the panel didn’t really want to scale much, some of those icons are absolutely tiny on my 2256x1504 screen, and i can’t make the taskbar text any bigger. the “fake windows XP” aesthetic here is really strong and pretty cool looking tbh
