       Today has been such a mess with adulting and chronic illness, and yet it's closing out just fine, I...! was this close to breaking down in tears at my own failure, but I didn't. It's been a struggle, but I did, in the end, successfully hold my nerve throughout.My real problem is dealing with shame. Shame at not being an accomplished, successful person. Shame for being a disabled queer who makes mistakes.But I feel a Successful (TM) person wouldn't have survived today the way I did.
