@patricus I can look into it if you give me the account that isn't working, but I doubt it's on our end. There aren't any server wide mutes or blocks of individual accounts here

@patricus I tried it, following mastodon.social gets you the following message on their end and they have to approve it manually. I don't know what that's about, I was never contacted by them about anything."Even though your account is not locked, the mastodon.social staff thought you might want to review follow requests from these accounts manually."Mentioning my testing account on mastodon.social worked just fine though.
