Sitting in a motel lobby, enjoying the free breakfast, realizing this workplace is totally dysfunctional. Hotel owner or employee is Indian, the person setting out the breakfast is from Guatemala, their common English vocabulary is kindergarten level or below.Nobody realized they have cereal, but no milk until I pointed it out in Spanish.

@Viking Even in Seattle I had to point out the lack of eggs (huevos) at one hotel breakfast.Though years ago (80s?) there was a small Mexican restaurant that had a one page menu. One side in Spanish, the other in English - except for a few words like leche which was on both sides. They did have REALLY good food though.

@mhjohnson 80s was when hotel breakfasts served juice instead of cool aid labelled as juice.
