       People will defend a state's genocide, and settler colonialism by talking about the diversity of the people involved.Keep in mind the US' Imperial military is also made up of a diverse group of folks.This is messaging that is meant to place doubt in the minds of white folks and stop them from acting. It relies on you seeing racialized groups as monoliths.The rest of us already know that not all skinfolk are kinfolk. #Palestine @palestine

       Many people who express support for Israel are not Jewish, and many are not white.What is happening to Palestinians is a global responsibility.You will find supporters across many different races, ethnicities, faiths, nationalities. The same goes for those in opposition.Don't let arguments around diversity be used to support settler-colonialism and genocide.

       You should be listening to Palestinians. You should be seeking out Palestinian orgs. You should be reading what they write.If for some reason, you find yourself unable to find them. Jewish orgs and coalitions against the Genocide will show you where to find them. Just ask. Read their posts. Sign up for their mailing lists.That is what Solidarity is.

       You need to do the work to humanize people who have been dehumanized.You have decades of "Brown = Bad = Muslim = Terrorist" to deprogram.You need to be reading books by Palestinian authors, essays, letters, poetry. You need to be looking for visual media put out that describe their experiences.That is your responsibility.And don't stop there. Come out to actions. Support them. Write your representatives.
