       [2/2] … US deer population has ballooned in recent decades, which enabled Lyme disease to infect a lot of humans. Perhaps culling lots of deer would slow the spread of CWD.

       @rms Major parts of the solution are to bring back the wolves (or stop hunting them where they still exist) and leave old growth forest intact.

       @rms perhaps culling lots of people would slow the spread equally well. Deer are nice and don't support the Genocide of indigenous people in the US or Gaza.
