       Watching football at the inlaws. Big audio system with the bass treble and voice all jacked up..Is it impolite to correct that so my ears don't bleed?

       @Marbo So... at the folks' house for Thanksgiving. I look at their 65" TV and realize it's in some 480 or 720 mode. I just go ahead and change it to 1080p and suddenly I'm the hero for making the TV "sharper." I also took it out of eye-bleed store mode too.I say people don't know what they've got, so it's up to knowledgeable family members to fix it for them. But be careful or you'll be tech support forever.

       @ReadyKilowatt hah that's great. It's like you added another 10 years to that tvs life. Oh yeah, thats why stealthy tech help when possible is the way to go. For instance, looking at pictures on someone's one - let me clean up these spam notifications real quick!
