       @brosandprose The hyperloop was just a repurposed 1920, 1960, 1980...rehashed Popular Mechanics fever dream.  It is physically impossible to build, even using modern materials.  The vacuum is unsustainable.  Musk may be manic about his work, but at the heart of it, he's really just a carnival barker with a good press agent.As soon as his lip starts front-running his brain, he's expendable, and guess what?  He passed that milepost over a year ago.
