       My vaccinated, cautious friend’s wife got the ‘rona despite best efforts because, y’know, children.She has asthma.  She’s now in a medically induced coma on a ventilator.#COVID isn’t over, you filthy animals.

       It's not the children's fault.  Don't blame the children: they had little control over their situation.  There are adults, and public health officials who failed in order for them to become infected.  The parents, school administrators, or local politicians deserve the blame (depending on how the children were infected). And those adults have names, and you should name them, as those children now have a lifetime full of covid surprises because of their infection.  Because those adults should face consequences, not just for getting your friend's wife into a coma, but for the covid surprises that those children will be experiencing.
