@adam When I started work as a young squib computer programmer on 8 bit Apple //e and BBC Micro at the NZ Department of Education in the mid-1980s, I would generally work late and arrive at work at 10am the next day. The middle aged Education Officers who nominally managed me would dryly ask if I had a copy of The Evening Post with me. The Evening Post was an afternoon newspaper in Wellington, NZ that was generally on sale after 3pm or so 🙂
