I have a long-time friend who made aliya long ago and lives in Efrat with her husband, kids, and grandkids. @halfwitamerican @jikPerhaps you should accept that your friend is in a war for survival - one instigated by Hamas - and if you think their survival should be contingent upon Israel using only those tactics that Hamas approves with clear written consent, you aren't much of a friend.

Well, it has now been confirmed to me first-hand that just as there are Russians who remain convinced over a year into the war that Russia is fighting a just war, there are Israelis and supporters of Israel who are 100% convinced that Israel is fighting a completely moral war in Gaza and everyone in the world but the Israeli government and right-wing media is lying about it.I'm not sure a friendship can survive this.*sigh*

Who claim I am an “anti-Semite” because I refuse to cheer for the murder of women and children in Gaza by pro-Israeli supporters of genocide. I don’t like to play the “report” game, but these genocide apologists are becoming far too vicious in their insults and misrepresentation of people’s motives.

@HeavenlyPossum @halfwitamerican @KarunaX It's your one-sided criticisms that make it Hamas support: if you rated them on the same scale as you do Israel, you would find precious little time to criticize Israel.Every single target that Hamas goes after - EVERY SINGLE TARGET - is a civilian target with no military justification. Israel goes after Hamas strongholds, and even then, they try to reduce civilian casualties by using tactics such as ground troops and flooding tunnels.
