       I want to be clear to folks encouraging Substackers to abandon their Substacks for a service like Buttondown… I’m willing, I’m trying, and it’s not one for one, it’s difficult, with paying subscribers if it’s even MORE difficult, and it’s not a turnkey thing. At least not for me, and I’m a nerd.I’ve imported my posts and emails, but now my account is (fairly!) deactivated while they make sure I’m not a spammer.My cost will go from $0 for free emails to $9/mo. Reasonable, but worth noting.

       Buttondown indicates that I can migrate all my paying subscribers but some of that will have to wait til tomorrow because I’ve been exporting and importing for a while now.
