       TIL that the old racist joke of "have you ever had Ethiopian food? Neither have they" is false since there is apparently Ethiopian food, and it all looks like different shades of diarrhea.This is what shitlibs envision when they make the "but what about the FOOD though" argument, different shades of liquid shit with some greenery sprinkled about, probably smells the same too.

       I've been to Ethiopian restaurants in Cincinnati and Knoxville with friends and it's honestly pretty good stuff. The bread is used similar to how Indians use roti or nan to scoop up the food. The bread is also very spongy.Don't get me wrong, you really only need one or two Ethiopian restaurants in a big city, run by people who immigrate legally to take risks to be a business owner .. but don't bash the food man. It's actually really good.

       @Shadowman311 They have good dishes too. Lamb stew, for example. Ethiopia was a minor silk road hub so it has Mediterranean and Asian cuisine mixed. Restaurants here might be capitalizing on the enamored NPC, but they can cook.

       @Noraweed @Shadowman311 I've had Ethiopian food, taken there by the exact kind of "cultured" libs you'd expect.  It's crap. The one good idea was some kind of spongy bread that they serve everything on instead of plates.  Not sure if that's a standard thing, but it wasn't bad when soaking up the sauces.

       @Shadowman311 I've had Ethiopian food. It is basically Indian food without the flavor - just the heat. Those buck wheat pancakes that look like tripe are inedible without a topping (I would actually prefer tripe).
