       I'm 59; soon to be 60 years old. The most important lesson I learned this past year is to let others have their joy. Someone likes TV show or a band you don't like? Let them have it. It's better for them and better for you.Life is tough—why make it harder?Let them have their joy.

       @Badger_AF You know what? I really like the idea of summing up and sharing the most important lesson(s) we learn at the end of the year. That's way more useful to me than a silly resolution I won't keep. Maybe that can be both for me this new years: This is a great lesson I just learned from you, and I can resolve to start doing it every year.
