There are many stocks that will probably do well, but I worry that the time for stocks isn't now. We've got a lot more inflation inbound and interest rates are going to be difficult to predict.

That's is why you choose the ones that have a proven track record of positive growth over decades... playing hot potato with stocks will get you burned.

I'm not a financial advisor, but this is how I see it: Stocks are traditionally the best long-term growth opportunity, but I don't expect they will do as well (at least not in the US) as the dollar gets squeezed by inflation. Businesses that produce fundamental things like food, energy, basic medical supplies, steel & concrete, etc. are likely to stick around. You'll probably want some real things like land, which is both productive and supply-limited, and gold -- which is universally recognized and almost as supply limited. I like BTC, it's also supply constrained, but it's not for the timid. In an increasingly volatile world, I would avoid dumping too much into any one asset class or sector. Spread it out a bit. If one class or sector gets hit, you have some other resources to lean on and use to buy up the really cheap stuff.

Stocks in any business that will be around for awhile or any local business that will make money. Car washes seem to be popular here. If you go the stock route make sure it's managed.

Land, guns, your preferred crypto, some Tesla and various mining stocks(uranium, gold, cobalt etc) physical silver and gold - allocation depends of ROI desire and risk tolerance

@allyouhad i would say then your looking for things like A basket of Stocks that include both tech and commodities- especially if you’re going longer time frame - I would als look into Cardano I don’t know what your level of technical understanding of bitcoin is but it built with the same type foundation but is proof of stake (with limited supply and the staking is liquid) the staking stay in your wallet under your keys just like bitcoin and also extremely decentralized- there is a stake pool running off starlink and solar in a RV.
