@PNS 2% engagement rate (I think that is a JCD stat for direct mail) over 1MM listeners is 20k. NASocial 10k cap, plus associated instances indicates a higher engagement rate.

@PNS I'll go with the 1M as a download answer.Download approximates listeners but it could be more or less.That we only have 10K users on NAS (a bit less right now) is a level of engagement.That they only get 10s of donations an episode is another level of engagement.

@PNS The troll room and NAS are highly engaged listeners. Most NA listeners are passive - NA gets 6 hours of their attention a week, and no more.I hear donations from my area several times a month, but most of those folks don't go to meetups. Remember when everyone was donating just to hear AC and JCD say "Fuquay-Varina"? We had a meetup there, and no one showed.Which is to say, passive listeners massively out number active listeners.

@mhjohnson I guess my point is this: stop fronting some YT level of success and get real.The listeners donating are dropping off the vine as things sour economically.If the business model is simply to siphon the haves, go for it.That's a diminishing market.Hence my amazement they can't read the writing on the wall.
