@mitch @podcastguru @merryoscar @samsethi @StevenB One thing I've noticed whilst joining livestreams is that I have no idea how long I would need to commit to them. I've just joined the Ainsley stream but missed a lot of the start.I know with the LIT inputs on Blubrry that I can put in a start/end time. One feature that might be useful is to have an 'expected end time' and a way to indicate how long the stream has already been going on.

@Meremortals @mitch @podcastguru @merryoscar @samsethi @StevenB I know sovereign feeds has a spot in it where you put your estimated duration time. Maybe the apps, if they wanted, could surface this?

@sirtjthewrathful @mitch @podcastguru @merryoscar @samsethi @StevenB Correct. I know Truefans has something like this because I remember seeing a 45 min time on the progress bar for the V4V show and 30 min for the book reviews. Just feels like there is a lot of space in all the apps that is normally taken up with the slider and skip 30s and etc which could be utilised more fully.

@Meremortals @sirtjthewrathful @mitch @podcastguru @merryoscar @StevenB We show it on the audio bar but we will make it more obvious as I agree it seems odd not to show elapsed time etc.

@Meremortals @sirtjthewrathful @mitch @podcastguru @merryoscar @StevenB One challenge is the start and end time are optional. So Ainsley show has ended (status) but the end time is 3 hors from now. So have an elapsed time from the start is ok but showing how long to go is odd when the show ends. Equally Adam and Dave have. 2hr duration in Sovereign Feeds. They often go over. Apps like Podverse ignore the end time and wait for the status change. We observe the end time and end the show?

@samsethi @sirtjthewrathful @mitch @podcastguru @merryoscar @StevenB Yeah that's why I had 'expected end time' or something like that. Might just be too hard to capture but my shows for example are relatively short and so I won't be too far off my expected limits.
