@Cleisthenes I agree 100%. After my divorce, my ex would try to chat with me, but I refused to have any conversation with her that wasn't about the children. And SHE divorced ME! I never did understand why she wanted to talk, but I assume it was because she realized she'd made a mistake in hindsight. The day she told me she wanted a divorce was one of the happiest days of my life, all I cared about was the kids. No takesie-backsies BITCH

@kekkerel @Cleisthenes that makes sense. But I refused to be "friends" after the divorce, and I haven't spoken to her since my youngest daughter's wedding some 15 years ago. I went home from the wedding and blocked her on all platforms immediately.I have had to be in the same room with her from time to time because grandchildren, but I manage to avoid her as deftly as Houdini coated with grease. And my kids know better to invite both of us unless it's a really important milestone, otherwise I won't come, and I won't attend ANYTHING without my current wife (makes things awkward for my ex).
