@Mummabear solid-ish. Apparently there's plenty of gaps in them. It's not like they were shaping stones that weren't meant to be seen for perfect fit nor were they using cement

@Mummabear afaik, yes. But they're still discovering new things about the pyramids all the time; for instance, there is now people questioning whether ot not they were really tombs, although the official narrative remains that, they were. But supposedly they're made of solid blocks of stone.

@Mummabear as far as I know, yes. I mean, with the exception of the "internal ramps" for dragging stones up the pyramid while it's being built. If the french guy, what's his face, is right, that is. But I'd imagine even that was backfilled when the construction was finished.

@Mummabear idk, the chambers and especially the tunnels they've recently found are very weird. If not a tomb, then some sort of religious monument?I can only take so much reading about Egypt because the people in the comments are such dicks. Some very not-nice people are into Egyptology, and I don't think Zawi Hawass' arrogance helped the matter any. I'm still interested though; I just don't want to talk to any of those people.When Zawi Hawass had his short-lived reality show, he was complaining about humidity problems ruining the Great Pyramid. I sent him a question through the show page. I asked him, why didn't they drag big bags of silicone, the type that you find in handbags and bottles of vitamins that say "do not eat", to the top of the pyramid, to absorb the excess moisture. Like a year passed, no answer, and then I got a response! A single line, "That's the dumbest idea I ever heard." No explanation for why it wouldn't work. I don't think it was Zawi Hawass that actually answered, probably some pissed-off intern that Hawass treated like shit, but that's the kind of people that are into Egyptology. They had no idea if I was an adult or a 9 year old kid when they did that, and it could have crushed some poor kid's dreams. So tread lightly when teaching kids about Egyptology, try to steer them away from comments or commenting themselves. But don't give up on it either, because it's super interesting, especially to kids.

@MartinJJ I'm finding this with ancient structures. Little science used to make educated assumptions. But they stick with what they thought in the 1800's.Luckily I found some independent enthusiasts on YT 👍

@Mummabear there is one just above main entrance on great pyramid. they easily got an endoscope in to it so there are plenty of pics.other void seems to be above grand gallery. other odd thing was lots of sand behind stone in a shaft.

So maybe download it to make sure you have it if you don't want to watch it right away. It's one of the few contrarian pieces that doesn't try to explain it away with "aliens" or whatever...It just points out some strange coincidences and irregularities in the mainstream narrative.
